Felted wool, felt, is fascinating. Its expression can be powerful, provocative, playful,
sacred, wild, sensitive, painterly or sensual.
My basic material comes from the Nordic sheepraces which grow a glossy wool. I blend the wool with other fibres as peat, sisal, silk, ramie and flax. Often i dye the wool, but I like also work with wool in its natural state.
I produce thin room dividing fabrics as well as rustic carpets or 3D sculptures. To prepare an exhibition or to felt wall hangings, art piecies, sculptural hats or thin surfaces for accessories is a great pleasure.
